Skull Bound is a hunting and fishing adventure show on The Sportsman Channel that ties in Host Jana Waller’s painted and beaded skull business. From bowhunting the Dark Continent to scaling mountains in her own backyard of Montana, Jana is a passionate hunter and angler in search of adventure,discovery and connections to the past that come from hunting. Teaming up with leaders in conservation, Skull Bound TV is “Bound To Make A Difference” in showing viewers that hunters are true conservationists.

Jana Waller resides in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana where she revels in her passion for hunting and fishing. A bowhunter for 25 years, Jana has traveled the globe hunting in Africa, Alaska, Canada, and all over North America. She is a freelance outdoor writer for numerous websites and hunting magazines and has been featured in Bowhunter Magazine, Sports Afield, Bowhunting World, Turkey Country, Predator Xtreme, Mule Deer Foundation Magazine, Petersen’s Bowhunting, Montana Magazine, Hunting Illustrated, Earned, Lady Hunter, Buckmasters, Bowfisher Magazine, and Texas Bowhunterʼs Journal, as well as on CNN.com.

With a Bachelorʼs Degree in Public Relations from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Jana has blended her intensity for conservation with her communications background, actively promoting women in the outdoors in both print and TV. She has co-hosted or appeared on numerous national television shows such as Invasion on Animal Planet, Outfitter Bootcamp on The Outdoor Channel and numerous shows on The Sportsman Channel. Jana is currently Producing and Hosting her own TV show called Skull Bound TV on The Sportsman Channel where her hunting adventures and skull artwork are shared with millions. Also a As a skull artist, she’s been painting and beading European skulls for over a decade, selling her unique artwork in galleries as well as custom designing skulls for enthusiasts across the country.

Jana is a lifetime member of Safari Club International, The Mule Deer Foundation and the National Wild Turkey Federation and an annual member of The NRA, The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Sportsman For Fish & Wildlife, and The Sportsman Alliance. She was recently award the prestigious 2015 “Communicator Of The Year” award by the National Wild Turkey Federation.

Along with being an ardent conservationist, Jana is dedicated to supporting veteran organizations. She is committed to getting veterans back into the woods and the mountains, featuring many veteranʼs stories of courage and strength on her show Skull Bound TV. Many of Jana’s painted or beaded skulls are donated every year to raise money for conservation and veteran related organizations. To date, she has personally raised over $38,000 for conservation and veteran causes.

After serving four years in the Marine Corps as an aviation structural mechanic on the CH-53E and CH-46 helicopters, Jim moved back to his home in Western Montana and combined his love of cinematography with his passion for the great outdoors.

Jim’s been in the filming community now for over eighteen years. He’s contributed footage to clients needing unique content for their vision and broadcast productions, from feature films with Steve Baldwin to Nat Geo’s Ultimate Explorer, The History channel, Discovery, Animal Planet and everything in between. Jim’s “anything is possible attitude” has helped him win multiple video production awards in a variety of categories.

Award-winning cinematographer & executive producer Jim Kinsey brings Skull Bound TV into its 6th season. The show airs January through June on the Sportsman Channel’s Big Game Wednesday Night block starting at 8:30PM EST. Skull Bound TV features host Jana Waller as she travels the globe in search of adventure, skulls and the world’s most interesting characters while promoting hunters as the true stewards of the land. Conservation is highlighted throughout the series and has been a huge part of the show’s success!
